So, obviously I am a bit slow off the mark posting my most sincere thank you to anyone that thought of Reinette (and River) in any form or fashion in the recent rp awards. Most of you know I am not a huge voice in these events. While I have nothing but the best wishes for them, and love all the positive things they bring and the opportunities to find new writers I always tend to remain on the quiet side. I am more inclined to try and leave some feedback on a prompt, let someone know what I love about their muse.

I was especially quiet this year because while so very touched, I am not entirely sure how deserving I was. It has not been my most prolific or consistent year of writing. But it does mean she is remembered, and I can't tell you how much that lifts my spirits.

So thank you. Thank you to everyone that read a single word I wrote or interacted with me in a single scene. Special thanks to brigadeertardis, savagestime and rude_not_ginger who were in some form or another grouped with me. Especial thanks to rude_not_ginger's mun, who Reinette would not even exist without. They are wonder writers and what is more? Wonderful friends.

But I also want to take this moment to remind everyone that recognition can be a daily thing. I have no doubt that we all appreciate one another as people and writers. And I know that we all take time to read. But often those extra moments to comment escape us. The phone rings, the laundry needs to be moved over. It's time to head into work. But I challenge all of us, including myself, to find the time. It will never be regretted, and will always be appreciated.

So again, thank you. As well as to those that have reached out to check on me, and make me smile during the holiday retail season.
