Interestingly enough much of her observations on Romana are the same that you wrote out. One of the first threads I even did with Reinette (her second actually) the Doctor spoke very highly of Romana and since then Reinette has been intrigued of her. I also imagine she saw images of her in his mind, however brief.
Thus she is curious about her, and intrigued by the Doctor's high opinion of her. She finds her intelligent and well spoken, and unfraid of her own strength. In time I know she would respect Romana a great deal and even view her as friend.
